200 x 200-Artists Sell their Work for $200

This means bring ONE piece of your work to sell for $200
Simple huh?

A few things to remember:

1) Keep it medium size-
If you are entering a series, keep it no more than 4
And try to keep in mind, there needs to be a theme or a
consistency through the series

2) If you are a sculptor or a jeweler or do crafts
(textile/rugs etc)
You may bring a stand or something that you want to display it
or with (i.e.: velvet, satin or something else). There will be
tables at the gallery.

3) There is a gallery commission 60/40
Plain and simple.
Your check for your piece sold will be sent to you within a week.
This is all done by the gallery’s accounting dept.
Folks can pay with cash, check and credit cards.

4) Bring your biz cards, your postcards, your brochures
and your PARTY FACE!
This is a chance to get to know another artist, a gallery owner,
a buyer that might want to clean out your studio. If you don’t
sell that’s okay, it’s not the end of the world you will have got
the word out there.

What we would like to do is close the show by Halloween so we
gather up the names and works to create a final list and post it
for the show. If you have told me, or the gallery that you would
like to be apart of this you are on the list. During the weeks
before the show we are going to ask for as many folks to bring
their work to the gallery so we can log them in, get them ready
to hang that Saturday morning.

I have attached a few jpg flyers that you can use to send out for
the show to your friends, family and foes for that matter. I will be
creating more, along the way so check out these two wwws for
more info, blogs with any kind of update.
I will be emailing again come July to check in or just bug you…

The Defoor Gallery is located on Defoor Avenue just off Howell
Mill Rd. in the newly refurbished neighborhood. A lot of interior
decorators work in the area and there are a lot fabric, furniture
and lighting vendors that are located nearby as well. The
